The centrino is better. The fact its a duo means its effectively 2 processors in one. That said, if all your doing is listening to music, web and looking at photos, either would be fine.

Just to clarify there's no such thing as Centrino processor. Both these have Pentium-M processors (one of the things that go together to make a laptop with Centrino technology). But as said one is the new dual processor type.

with laptops it really doesnt matter because the processors are far more efficient than in PC's, so you wouldnt really notice the difference... but as a general rule of thumb FORGET intel... AMD are far better

Yep, as Grahawk says they are both Pentium processors, but the duo one is better.

The explanation of 'Centrino' is as follows:

"Centrino is a platform marketing initiative from Intel for a particular combination of CPU, mainboard chipset and wireless network interface in the design of a laptop personal computer."

Centrino can mean a lot more battery time. Instead of allocating set blocks of processor usage to running tasks, it allocates much more effeciently, only really using as much processor time and therefore battery power as required. A Centrino laptop with a decent cared for battery (run-down as much as possibly before recharging) could last 8 hours if not running silly amounts of programs at the same time. I've witnessed it on a building site using Centrino laptops on a wireless network.

I think that these Wikipedia articles explain the differences admirably:
