washing machine help please

Hello

Does anyone know how to tell if the pump in the washing machine is broken?
My washer will not drain the water away .
I have looked at all the pipes and there is no blockage and have cleaned the filter out.
I have taken off the pump but this seems fine as far as I can tell anyway.

Can anyone help please cos I dont want to by another pump and find out that it was a waste of money!!

Many Thanks
If you dont ask you dont get!!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
You need an electrical tester a two probe one, with the power disconnected remove the two connectors that goto the pump, put the probes one into each connector, the turn the power back on and select a pump part of the programme cycle, you should see the tester light up and if it reads voltage should be reading between 220 - 240 volts, if it does that then ya pump is !!!!!!ed.

If there is water in the machine and the pump is !!!!!!ed then take the grey hose out of the waste pipe and lay it on the floor into a bowl it will then gravity empty and the door will open when empty.
You may click thanks if you found my advice useful
