Play.com Issues need help

Morning all,
I placed an order 2 days ago with Play.com, my order still says processing and they are delivring my item to my billing address, but I recently moved so that's no good. I have tried to call them, with no luck! just music and no one ever answers. I cannot cancel the order or try to change the delivery address. I have looked on the website and there is no email for customer services either.
Is there anything I can do, has anyone else experienced this or have any advice.
Looks like I will be charged, be sent the item to my old address and still have to pay for it. I don't remember even seeing a section in the pay options to change delivery address as I definately would have done this

I googled it.
Someone said this one worked privacy@play.com
Or there's this 1 customercare@play.com
Telephone: 01534 877595 Instead of having to use 0845 800 1020
The 0845 number seems to be the only official "General" way to contact them left. Which isn't much use when they're closed.
Hope this helps0 -
Email is usually best with play.com0

Well after waiting on the phone for half an hour I finally spoke to someone who has confirmed they have already taken my money and although they haven't shipped it yet will still be sending it to the wrong address regardless, and I will have to wait 21 days before I can complain even though they can correct this now.
Another company that I won't be doing business with again, all too quick to take your money but not interested in customer care ***sigh***Comping wishlist for 2017

Why not cancel the order under DSR? they will have to refund ALL of your money, including P&P.

hi,
pre-ordered a dvd 5/11/09 as i have previously bought the previous annual reviews of the WRC here, and the service was good with free delivery.
after browsing on amazon i could see the item i pre-ordered £5 odd cheaper with super saver delivery.
after glancing over the terms and conditions and the email confirmation of order, I am within my right to cancel the order as the item/s status was still at packing stage, whereas if it were in the dispatch stage I am then commited to a contract of purchase.
Have previously ordered items in haste off play.com and after thought have been able to cancel the order on my online account no problem. This time i am unable to cancel as it does not anywhere give me that option.
have contacted play.com on 0845 8001020 and after long conversations with their reps on the 2/12/09 and 3/12/09 and after being very persistent i got to talk with a 'so called supervisor' who told me exactly the same as the previous persons. sorry, sorry, sorry, they are all completely powerless!! they cannot do any more than joe public on their play.com account at home .
have sent several requests for cancellation highlighting their terms and conditions and that i am within my wright to cancel.
finally got a e-mail of acknowlegement from. customercare@play.com however i am not going to hold my breath!!
i will not buy off these people ever again!!0 -
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j :cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. Why didn't you change your address with your bank and on your Play account first before making any orders?
