Blanking/blcoking letter box

I am awaiting delivery of a mail box for the outside of my house to cruelly starve my woofers of daily diet of parcels, junk mail topped off with posties fingers and want blank or block off the letter box on my uvpc door that currently has a brass letter box on it - I cannot find anything suitable through google can any one advise. ?

I did think of that but it would be unsightly and easily untaped would prefer a more secure and attractive solution

What about a letterbox cage so that doggies are unable to get the post but postie can still deliver it.

thanks but due to mouldings on rear of door not practical hence the mail box I am sure you can let letter box blanks as I have seen them on some doors in past when doing betterware - now if I could remember where I would knock and ask.
