adjudicator

hi folks just a wee question.I recieved a letter from the FOS saying my claim has been referred to an adjudicator over 5 weeks ago anyone know how long it normally takes from this point or should i phone to check it out?:confused:

    Hi There

    it all depends on how long the business takes to respond it could be really quick e.g. within a month or if they are particularly difficult 3 months plus.

    Hopefully yours should be quick.

    Hi aberdon, It normally is about 6 weeks with an adjudicator unless of course the business is holding things up. I would just ring and see where it is at. The thing is FOS do not have time limits on business's getting back with things. Sometimes they need a push in the right direction.;)

    cheers folks just off the phone to FOS and they posted a letter to me yesterday so ill get it tomorrow with an offer from the Clydesdale.Is this a sign of guilt from them do you think because we all know they dont do goodwill gestures do they.Ill let you know more tomorrow.

    well i got my letter from FOS stating that the clydesdale would settle my claim as the FOS would and be in touch with me with an offer.So if i read it correctly i should be getting it all back so heres hoping
