15% reduction for EDF customers

EDF energy are not making this widely known, but if you are on Income Support or receiving tax credits you can have an additional 15% reduction on your EDF energy bills. Phone EDF and ask, that is all you have to do to confirm this. They will need your account number/s, date of birth and national insurance number to confirm eligibility.

    To qualify you must be a customer of EDF Energy and spend more than 10% of your total net annual household income on annual household energy costs, or be in receipt of Income Support and/or receive Pension Credit benefits.

    It is one of those things you have to watch, as we looked into it for my elderly MIL, oddly it was still cheaper for her to have on-line tarrif then a social tarrif
