Best Priced Ink For HP Laserjet 1005

The Charity I work for has been given a HP Laserjet 1005 which I believe is a good printer. Looking online however it would seem that the HP ink cartridges for this printer are very expensive.

I did come across some compatible ink cartridges but I have never used them and so I wondered if anyone could recommend the cheapest ink cartridge to go with this printer ?

Cheers

I have used Choice Stationery (www.choicestationery.co.uk) several times for HP compatible laser toners for my HP Laserjet 1018. Originals for mine are around £60, Choice compatibles £20 delivered.

It looks like Choice are just under £25 for the 1005.

Choice were pretty good, only niggle was that the item had to be obtained from their supplier (back order) and although they say same day despatch as mine was on back order it took a bit longer to arrive. My toner was completely empty so I was a little impatient - ordered Monday, arrived Friday so not bad really.

    Hope that helps.
