aspire acer one a150l notebook battery problem

I have a aspire acer one a150l notebook which i got say 1 to 2 years ago,its hardly been used but i have found that since its been purchased it does not seem to start up on its own, needs to be plugged into the mains, any idea whats wrong as this is pretty much new hardly been used since purchase.
If my battery is broken, how can i tell?what can i do yo check and how do i know there is something wrong with it and not something else.
If it is the battery thats got a problem where can i get another, cheap and the same and best places for prices too,did i not also read you can buy a bigger one that lasts longer for same notebook.thanks
Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.

  • Hi!
There's a problem with the the BOS in some versions of the Acer Aspire One which prevents the battery from being charged if it's completely flat. My wife had this problem and when we upgraded the BIOS the problem went away.
    I hope that helps
