Hi LC, not a problem at all so long as we know members realise the dates, though you're on often enough to 'keep on the ball', but it's others having joined and forgotten all about it that we're trying to reach hence the reminder posts on DFW main board.
All the best with the Terramundi, I'm thankful mine is done ...got the muscles to prove it too. See you when you're ready, LC.

Hi
Pots empied today total £601.33 so amazed and ready for this year now. Sorry for being late with the total been extra busy in work0 -
Hi Sue. Still here encouraging people to save, what a trooper :kisses3:
They should rename this thread, the happy saver thread, everyone seems buzzing and soo pleased with their savings & so they should be.
Last week my employer gave back everyone their saving club money. It's a great system where they take money (any amount you want) straight from your wage and put it in a saving club. It starts every January and ends December. You only miss the deductions for a week or two and then you forget about them until December....£1540
Some may feel that this is a cheat as I'm not actually putting money into saving tins manually, but fair enough, I've also two tins.
£120 & £70. Unopened though, I counted the marks I made on the bottom of each tin everytime I put a £1 in. The grand total being £1730.
The money will be used for a holiday to India in March (first time abroad). Hopefully There will be some change left to chuck into my 2011 tin....Bring it on!! :dance:Sealed Pot Challenge 15 #78

Excellent saving teeni, we haven't heard a word from you in all this time - because you were squirreling away like mad - very well done!!! :T:T:T
Hi there rancid-a, No wonder you're all coming on here later this year, tis taking you sooooolong to count it...... Congratulations rancid!! :T:T:T About the money you save through work - I think it's a fantastic idea and honestly do not think anyone would think it was cheating at all, why anyway when it's still money saved by YOU!!!!If everyone here were to save in such a way, it wouldn't worry me at all. I just LOVE to see folk so happy with whatever amount they save, this time of year is a joy in witnessing the pleasure by everyone - small amounts or large - it's they who have achieved something great
and I'm thrilled for you ALL!!! Great to see you rancid, see you on SPC 4 and have a lovely holiday in India next March! :j
....that proves my point ALR, look how excited you are with yours and it's wonderful. Such good news about you having topped your Target too. Well done ALR, brilliant! :T :j :T
Oh very well done, angelica68!! :T:T:T You've had a rough year - YET - you've saved and it's amazing to have done so. Good luck with a better year next time, but if you're able why not come here more often as you may get some tips on saving further. I'm forever learning and it really wisens you up.
Well done everyone! :T

Hi Sue-UU,
Hello Sparks,
Hi Everybody!!
Sorry I've been AWOL (again), I've no excuses so I won't even try. Suffice to say that I received a swift kick on the behind from Sue-UU et voila, here I am!!
I can't believe I missed Sparks countdown, and the Grand Opening of everybody's pots, it totally went out of my head.
There's some awesome figures, so well done everybody. I've just realised I'm probably saying more than you want as I should just be declaring my figure so I'll shut up now.
My figure for 2010, isn't as much as I would have liked as I think I set my goal at 579 (the same as my member number), so I'm coming in at a dismal $195.98, which I'll transfer to a savings account, but hey ho, it's be one of those years.
Right! I'll pop on over to the SPC 4 thread. See you there!0 -
Finally got mine all counted up £81 in to the bank for me this year on top of the £7 something in my sig already spent.
So my grand total is £88.19 little bit less than last year but i knew that it would be, fingers crossed for a bumper year in SPC4!
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

...and about time too!!!
Hiya Kerfuffle, it's sooo very, very good to see you again, a real joy!
We've really missed you so what a surprise to get your PM just now!
I won't say a word about things going totally out of your head, far too polite me. Well done on your savings, Kerf!! :T:T Though it doesn't matter how much you've saved so long as you have saved. Still, if you're staying with us now maybe you can save more. Some folk are able to do so far easier than others though, but it's how much the amount means to those who've saved it that counts, not the actual figure.
Right I'm off to 4 now to see you there. So good to see you again!
