Hi Sue-UU. Could I please join the sealed pot challenge? I know it's late in the year, but I think I can save more by being part of this thread. It's very encouraging to see that "pennies make pounds" is actually true! I won't bother with a figure for a target, just as much as I can save, I will save.

Also how to people manage to get into the terrimundi pots without smashing them? I've managed to get a note out with tweezers before when I needed to pay someone, but wouldn't know how to get it all out without smashing it.

Alot of patience, a flat bladed knife, tweezers if there are a few notes in there and a glass of wine or beer to see you through it (can you tell i've sat and done this a few times) :rotfl:

Well I wish I had something to go in the pot... I ended up scrabbling round for money for the bus today since my last fiver has gone missing I honestly haven't spent it. I put it in my purse on Sunday so it must've dropped out. I had to ask my tutor for change so I could get home. Have to pay it back tomorrow. The 20p I found in a random drawer came in handy though

spazaloikins, you'll have noted that mummytummy is hot when it comes to extracting cash, or anything else, from Terrimundi. It's much the same way as I do it though. However, I would never contemplate cracking one, for sure! How about putting notes into something more getoutable - if that makes sense.

BTW, I never thought it was a hotel, just expressing that even at banquets and restaurants people will part with their cash. Often they can be more of the closed fists types. It looks as though you'll get even more chance!
