I keep looking in the pot aswell its looking good, put some change in there not much! They are closing all out local halifaxs - not happy. Might change to santander they offer a nice looking £100 for changing over! good times.

Hiya everyone! Good to see you all getting more and more excited as we count down the days to opening those pots we've all saved so hard in.

If everyone's saved in a similar way to last year sparky, then, with all the additional members this year things should be looking good and therefore us having more than last. I know nothing's for certain with the economy as it's been of late, but we have some very thrifty members who like their cash saved!!! :T

Not long til you're both off then sparky. You and your so many sleeps left reminds me of my little ones too LC 2. We're dealing with another very big kid ere! Bless his little cotton socks. You sure about the thongs though? fishcakes seems to have hold of (scuse the pun) inside information maybe!

Received 11 X £2 coins and 2 X 50p's for the Summer 2011 spends pot

Sparky Where are all the £2's coming from? Ive put in a load of change - seen some coppers but they add up ay!

Sue - think I am going to change over I think its just the hassle of changing all my direct debits and stuff phoning each one of them... BT I hate calling them, press 1, press 7, press 9 - oh sorry ur through the wrong section arrghhh. Ive learnt a new trick of pressing hash hash #### until they say, we did not understand ur reply we will now put you through to an operator. But it doesnt always work!!

Hope you are finding the pennies pounds and notes for u lucky ones.

We have a pools man in work who saves the £2 coins for me and if you use the self service till at Mr M's you get £2 coins in your change, I can tell you they're mounting up now, though they are in a sealed pot, along with 50p's until next July, so I wont know that total until then
