Saver 418 reporting in for duty!

A shiny new thread, a shiny new sealed tin and some shiny coins already stuffed through the slot (about £4)

Good luck to everyone over the coming year. Let's get saving :j

Incidentally, last year I said I was saving for Christmas. Well with grateful thanks to good old MSE I've already finished my Christmas shopping, mostly with freebies/bargains found here.

So the money will buy a new television and stand for the lounge as the one we have is almost 20 years old and very much about to breathe it's last gasp.

So thank you to MSE. Without that pot I have no idea what we would have done!

hello!! Think you gave me a number on the old thread (766??) - target of £150 for me please! Made a start last night by rounding up all of our change in the house and shoving it in a drawer until I find a proper pot. hoorah!!
  • Can I join in and have a number as well please?? I've watched this for the last couple of years now and wondered what it was all about. Think its a fantastic idea and anything I manage to save will be a bonus!!!!
loobylou2.Proud to be dealing with my debts and aiming to sort out the mess in 2013!!!!
  • Nice new thread Sue. Saver number 002 reporting in. Yet more newbies for the thread. Welcome one and all. It's mental but friendly on here. SPC 1 had some mental (drunk) moments and SPC 2 was pretty similar!!
I shall do my duty of greeting newbies whenever you're not around, and I'm sure Sparky and I will be running our "Road Kill 101" classes again this year. lol.

    Stunty.

P.S Target of £600 again this year please Sue.

I'm thinking of keeping a separate jar just for roadkill alongside my sealed pot and see how much i manage to pick up over the year, did quite well this year, heart stopping when you find a note:D

    Hi everyone!

For all those still wanting to add their targets:

Sorry about that folks, but I never asked for it to be locked any way and even stated that all totals were to be added there!!

I've just asked for it to be unlocked as it was still quite obvious that it wasn't finished with!!! So please be patient ALL... I have to be too! :wall:

Back with you all as soon as I've added new members to this thread, but welcome HOME!!! :j
