I really want to pay my first credit card off this payday so I've emptied my pot. Just wondering if anyone knows how Halifax or Lloyds TSB are about half full bags of change? I don't have enough of any coin to fill one (ie £5 in 20ps). I have sorted and counted it all though and I haven't mixed coins in the bags.
Total for first pot £21.08!! Going to keep count so I can post the total at the end of the year.Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Evening everyone
Have been putting my £2 daily in the pot, and the family keep asking me what i,m saving for! I have wanted a rough coated lurcher for some time so thats what it,s for [at the moment!] Back in the dim and distant past had greyhounds and irish wolfhounds and now i can see that my secret dream can become a reality!
Also ordered the car, not the little 2 seater, but a p$%g*t 107 so the dog can go in it! Forward planning!!
Thanks for the continued encouragement, even tho i only post weekly,
keep feeding those pots everyone

A lovely sum of all the 2s for you then Kerry!
Good news about paying your credit card off psychopathbabble. You'd saved the money and far better to pay it off than to incur interest. Not sure about Halifax or Lloyds TSB for part bags, but one of the best ways to help them take pity of youis to count the amount in each separate bag and place a piece of paper in with it saying the total, ie. amount of 2ps in a bag is £2.32, so a piece of paper goes in with them say £2.32 then the same with each denomination - but each in it's own bag. IF that doesn't work then go to your local shop or PO. Our village PO/shop loves having such change so long as it's separated. Glad you're taking care to keep count of that amount. Good luck psycho!:)
Well done Our Elsie! £64 per month isn't bad at all, but keep at it!
Caz - follow your dreams and go for what YOU want in life, car and all! Definitely more room in a p$%g*t 107 than a 2 seater. It doesn't matter that you come on once a week, many rarely visit til closer to Christmas, either way, you still get encouragement, it's free of charge!:D
Sorry to hear that LC, you must do whatever you think best re the travelling - OR - you could stop home and beat Reb? Does it appeal?!!!
3p in the pot for me today.
Have a lovely Sunday all.

Thanks Sue, didn't think of trying the Post Office. I seem to remember Lloyds are usually ok about taking change, Halifax seem to be a bit funny. Will let you know how I get on!!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16

Good morning! My circumstances have changed since signing up for this challenge, so haven't been able to put much in.
I have however just emptied all the silver loose change from my purse into my little pot today, so hurray! :j
Thanks to everybody posting here, it keeps me motivated! :T0 -
You're welcome psycho, but yes, it would be good to know just how well you do, thanks.
Hi Helen, good to see you! APRIL?!!!!! What's happened to March! No wonder sparky keeps on about Christmas, bless his cotton whatsits!
Hi Sublime, and thanks for letting us know. Don't worry about not being able to put much in the pot, if the chance occurs then do so, if it doesn't then no worries at all. I hope things soon turn out much, much better for you, it happens to us all from time to time though so don't think it's just you going through problems - there are always so many here on MSE!
Have a great week everyone, enjoy it, dodge the raindrops - and SAVE well!!!
