Hello, Can I join in please? I've already started a pot, well a coffee jar, which isn't sealed :D, but I'm hoping to get hold of a tin in the sales otherwise I'll be dipping in at any given moment! I have about £10 at the moment but I have some more shrapnel in my purse which can go in today.

I'd like to save for Christmas next year and £150 would be nice, so I'll aim for that.

Lots of luck in 2010 everyone.

Hi! Can i join in this year please? Im going to start saving all my coppers i think- need to find a pot i cant get into, or maybe we will be playing crafty on tuesday and make one up! hmmm, think ill go check my purse now!x

Hey all, can I please join in too :) I was in on the last one but have lost all my sign in details so am starting again on a new profile. I am going to try to hit £300 although will be happy with whatever as I am also paying off debts and they are my priority.

    Good luck everyone

    WELCOME NEWBIES,
Looks like Sue is on line right now, so she should be in the process of adding you to the list, and allocating you a number each, have fun saving and a warm welcome to the gang :D

Hi and welcome to the thread <3FallenxAngel<3, clarabella23 and novagirl! It's great to meet you! Enjoy yourselves with us and have great fun saving. You'll find your numbers at the bottom of the list on post 2 of page 1. If you haven't already done so then read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll help you with any queries. If you can put your number on your sig it would be great.

All new Targets have been updated, anyone else wanting theirs done, please ask in a post and I'll be only too glad to put them on.

OK Candy, I've added the 0107 to your name, so you're complete now! Good to hear you have positive plans for your savings.

I thought I recognised your FA name Tobii, what a darned shame about losing your sign in bits, make a note of them now mind!

Well done Paul, you sound so positive and delighted about saving. It's wonderful when folk get so happy with saving as it helps them budget even more and makes that less 'boring' as someone said yesterday.

Oh yes rosepink! I just love the way you and your DH are going about saving and where men are concerned it makes perfect sense!!! :rotfl:

It's ok poorbabe, you don't need to rejoin, we all stay on saving yearly. I've got a feeling you're set to do much better this time round!:j Where finding a suitable bottle's concerned, ask SAM (samace83) for one as she's knocking the wine back pretty fast!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Lovely to see you back again Shelley!! :T I quite understand about uni, even more about meeting someone! :D A good idea to keep your savings and carry through in the following year. How about dropping by more often!

Slowly we're getting more totals being declared with others having gone on the old thread today - and well done to them too!!! Still plenty more to come yet, and I'm sure a good few have yet to realise the year's up, or have still to find us. Meanwhile, sparky and I continue to bump the reminder thread on the main DFW board So, for now folks, thank you so much for your patience, hopefully it won't be long before a Grand Total can be revealed. Thanks all.

You're doing great Greenbynature! So many others folloeing your lead I notice too! :T

pink_numbers, that's a brilliant and cheap idea with the salt tub, I had a drinking chocolate tub in 2008, works well and is economic for sure!

Sam, would you be able to supply us all with bottles should it be necessary???! :D

Keep up the wonderful work everyone!

Sue New friends wishing to join us, please just ask below and I'll be with you ASAP.

£2.20 in the pot today but will be adding a bit more to it later when I've raided the bottom of my bag for the pub change. Oh and I think I'm going to chuck my £10 lottery win in there too! Signature updated appropriately!

Back again - can I be counted in please? I'll aim for £500 again, thanks.

I've put the odds and ends that didn't fill the bank bags in the new pot, so off to a good start. It's a great idea opening just before Christmas isn't it?
