  • It's never too late to save :D

I didn't want to use a ceramic/china pot as it's heartbreaking to smash it up :(

    Good luck on your saving!!!

Don't forget to check through quidco for cashback, when your getting your new phone, there's some good offers on at the mo, make sure you check it out hun :D

Thanks but I already know which phone etc I am getting and I have to get it at Carphone Warehouse as I have vouchers to go towards it. :)
  • A few quid and a few pennies in the pots for me todey.

I have been guestimating £60 for a while now for my quids pot, so I thinkI will start guestimating £70 as I have been putting a few in here and there.

Hope Monday wasn't too painful for everyone - roll on Tuesday

  • As of today, I am trying to get back on the MSE wagon. I have been putting the odd coins in the sealed pot... the euro pot has disappeared after a couple of work trips to Lyon. Am hoping to have coins left over from weekly budget to throw in, as well as any roadkill.

  • Only started this challenge recently and I don't know how much I have put in but I am putting something in nearly every other day. Mine's not actually a sealed pot though, just the Roses tin we had for xmas. I don't feel tempted to count it or take it from it though because it is for xmas this year and I will defintely do that as normally have a lot of my xmas shopping done by now from the Boots 75% sale but didn't get so much this year.

  • have finally managed to get a sealed pot well one of those big tins :) (was using a biggish jar) and after counting and putting my change in to it I have £10.55 so far.

Hoping to put a bit more in this month :) now that I can't get at it, it will built up a bit quicker as I had to take £3.50 out last month for window cleaner :( nevermind though, some is better than none :D

Hi, am I too late to join? Have had obsession with sealed money boxes for a number of years now - nice to know I'm not on my own. Sealed pot for 2010 is one of those lovely china ones you have to break to get money out. Hoping to fill it during 2010 - tend to save only high value coins and occasional notes if spare.

    Welcome AvidSaver,
Sue is having problems with her 'puter, once she's able to get back online, she will allocate you a number, until then just start saving, enjoy the banter and more importantly enjoy saving :D. Also about breaking your pot, most peeps on here find a knife and a lot of patience poking around the money slot, you can get your money out without having to break it :D
