    Evening everybody,

Sparky, I'm pleased to hear you and DW are on the mend, good to see the lurgy hasn't spoilt your sense of humour.

Well plenty of pennies in the pot for me recently, I've been sorting out my finances as I'm doing the Frugal Challenge so all pennies left over from 2009 are nestling in the pot, and hopefully they'll stay there for some time.

Wrap up warm everybody and look after yourselves, I see it's pretty bad for you all at the moment.

    Morning everyone, :snow_grin

Hope the snow is not causing too many problems for you all. I'm not going into work today, (been told not to attempt getting in) so bus fares going into pot today, £2.50, it will also be a NSD, and I'm going to make bread this morning. So a fairly money saving day all in all.:T

    Hi all

Nothing in for me the last few days - we're counting down to payday! I have £5 in my purse to go and post my aunties birthday present later. Any left over will go in the pot as we should be paid tomorrow.

    Hope you're enjoying the snow!

  • Cleared out 2 handbags which were full of rubbish, but didn't find a single penny in either. So no contributions to the pot til tomorrow, when I'll be going out, despite the evil snow and ice.

    Morning everyone,
Thank you all for the well wishes, very much appreciated :D. DW and I are at the end of this infernal piggy flu, and I will be back in work later, DW is returning tomorrow, (motorway permitting:eek:). Hopefully take the poor dog out today as she keeps looking out of the window longing to get out into the snow :D, plus I need to get my DM some flowers for keeping us supplied during our confinement to the sty :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

BTW I think this flu makes you into some sort of super hero, like Peter Parker was bitten by a spider and has spidey senses, I now have piggy senses, and can smell truffles :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hope everyone has a great day, stay safe and keep saving xx

£2.41 in the pot today, being brave and putting £1s in too as dont get change very often, hoping they wont be missed and I'll have a nice total in November :)

Sorry to sound thick, but this is my first attempt at this challenge; I was wondering, why November and not December? Not a bad thing, just curious. :)
