    i too was just thinking what the ban was really for, as you dont get banned for failing to provide a breath. i smell gossip.
    Target Savings by end 2009: 20,000
    current savings: 20,500 (target hit yippee!)
    Debts: 8000 (student loan so doesnt count)

    new target savings by Feb 2010: 30,000

    If you refuse to provide a speciment you will get a ban in virtually every case, it is generally between 18 months and 36 months. It is used as a deterent to prevent people just refusing to give a specimen.

    A 36 month ban is generally given to someone who has a previous Drink Driving offence (There is your aggravating circumstance)
