Tesco - Garden Furniture Half Price (merged)

boo, I wanted some of those chairs but couldnt find any!

Surprise Surprise, My local tesco's has shedloads of twinpacks of wooden chairs - £59.99 - I managed to get the £49.99 reclining ones on Sunday at half price because of the offer - they still are half price, but the twin packs are not.

I'm starting to wonder about their half price offeres - I normally woundn't spend £4 on a bottle of wine, but I do when it's advertised as an £8 bottle at half price .................... Mmmmmmm something to think about.

I went to my local Tesco today to do some shopping. I saw a man with a Lincoln garden set (Table, 4 Chairs and a Parasol). As I am a bargain hunter I asked him how much it cost he replied £21.00 something. I was so excited I had to put my shopping in the car and come back into the store to see if they had any left. To my surprise they had one. I have just brought a garden furniture set for £21.23. Bargain of the year so far and I wasn't even looking for one.

Just to also say the had wooden chairs twin pack like director chairs two for £9.99and twin pack wooden chairs for £14.99 and a large wooden table for just under £19.00.

I found Leyland never had anything in, so had a drive down to southport on Saturday where I found lots and lots of almost everything. The only thing they didnt have were the standard chairs for the large 6 seater metal & glass set (which was what I'm after)

Not sure if they'll have anything left now though.

Does anyone know if any of the Tescos around Bristol/Weston have the garden furniture in stock? I live in Clevedon and they don't have any here and I've not long moved to the area from Hampshire so I don't know where any tescos are - I've looked on the store locator but don't want to go all round the world and when I called one of the stores they weren't exactly forthcoming!

Thank you for that. I managed to get the chairs from the Blackpool store, have you tried there as they still had some in on Tuesday? The Southport store is just about the only one I've not tried for the table so I'll give them a buzz.

Can i just say for those who didn't get a parasol with their purchases Wilkinsons do a very nice parasol with crank handle for £18 (£15 without the handle).

Goes very nicely with my Tesco Canterbury table and also fits the base just fine.

By the way the Canterbury wooden slatted chairs are very comfy without the cushions - despit how they may appear - so save your pennies and don't buy cushions!

Sorry to bump this thread again, but can anyone confirm what the current status is on this offer. Is is still 50% off or has it gone back to full price.

Also does anyone know where to find any sandringham tables?

I am of the opinion that it was all reduced to 75% off and has now either sold out or virtually sold out and is no longer stocked

Everyone has Sandringham chairs but no tables...!!!

If anyone can find me a Sandringham table I'd be overjoyed!
