Boiler Cost

Hi All

some of you probably followed my threads previously about my broken boiler and gave advice - i've had a load of trained (qualified) people look at it and had a quote for:

£1360 - swap boiler for a Baxi Condensing Boiler, insert thermostat and the condensing pipe outside and to the drain (the drain is directly below the boiler).

+ if Worcester boiler is needed its £300 more.

Just seeing what people think??? some advice good or bad would be appreciated

thanks a lot all

paul

I'm in exactly the same position. I have gone for the Worcester 30 cdi & the cost including boiler, flue & programmer will be around £1800 (I purchased the boiler etc myself for £1100). I have also purchased a boiler buddy to help maintain the system after it's been flushed.
