Cheapest public transport commute between Maidenhead to London (peak time mon-fri)

Hello, I live in Maidenhead and I've just had my job contract terminated so need to find another quickly and would help if I could work in central london. I've looked it up and at face value a peak season ticket would cost me WELL over £300 which is out of the question. Does anyone know a cheaper way to do it? I'd need to be in London (this is hypothetical, so I don't have any post code or station, but West End would be good) by 9am. Any commuters or cheap ticket finders out there? I've got a young person's railcard but I think that only kicks in after 10am. Thanks for any help at all!!

Thanks, I hadn't considered that. I'm not too sure because I don't drive and it might not be reliable, but also because my mum would kill me for going with strangers! lol. I shall look into it and ask around!
Does anyone know a cheap way to travel on the train/ tube on this route? Thank you

Some employers in London will provide low interest loans to purchase train season tickets, you may also find someone at your new job could give you a lift.
Have a look at the car sharing forums on the google return I posted, they may do some type of checking on the drivers etc. The forums may have advice on this0 -
The YP railcard IS valid before 10am, but there is a minimum fare of £12 before then.
An anytime day return is £12 and an anytime travelcard £15.50 with your railcard
Not sure if it helps though - looks close to your season prices. But 'over £300' is a slight exaggeration - it's a bit under, and that does include travel in London
There's also a once a day coach - leaves Maidenhead 0630ish, returns soon after 1700. Route 710, and almost certainly cheaper
