Hello everyone, I wonder if anyone can help me with some advise. In October I responded to a promotion in a national newspaper - one of those things where you save the coupons and then send off with a few pounds. There was also an option to buy the whole thing online without using your coupons and I thought I was being smart and did this.
The problem is that although the company took my money they have never sent out goods. I've emailed several times and didn't get a reply. I've even emailed the newspaper the promotion was with and all they did was give me a phone number to phone.
I know I am not the only person who has been conned with this promotion and I was reading comments online that they have phoned the number and all they got was an answering machine and no reply.
What do I do next? I had purchased the item for my son as I thought it would be a nice present for his going into hospital later this month. The item was only £9.99 but it is a lot of money for me.

speak to your bank or credit card provider and tell them you haven't received the goods, really only creditcards give you any rights and only when you spend over £100 but it may be worth trying them anyway, do you have an address for the company?Yes Your Dukeiness0

Yes I have an address online - it's in Kent. Thankfully I did pay by credit card but wasn't sure if I could claim as it is under £100. Just annoyed at myself for being scammed but there are hundreds in the same boat.0

The company is well know as I have found to my cost - expansive media and the promotion was through the Daily Mail.
I've recieved a couple of emails from the Daily Mail today and they said they would get back to me. Hopefully this will get resolved before the 20th.0
