'BLZ' in German means 'Bankleitzahl' (Sorting-Code).
What about 'SC' for Sorting-Code in English and 'ABA' in another language (probably French)?0 -
ABA is the American Sort code, usually in the format 021 000 7890

From next year all International payments done through your bank will have to have an IBAN number or it will not be actioned.0

OK.... so it sounds like it is a sort code.... but that is inherently included in the IBAN which they also need.... looks like i'll be doing some calling in the morning!
