I did a website once with oneandone but it didnt let me insert links.
Now I'm looking at using my free space on NTL but havent a clue how to get the webpage uploaded once I've done it. With minimal cost ofcourse.
Plus cheapest permanent domain. The last one I had with oneandone was cheap to start (£1.99) but then I started getting expensive quotes to keep it on.
Also does anyone know if you can put links into your free webspace site? Or the cheapest way to get the space I need to do what I want?
I'm not that clever on techie stuff I'm afraid.

Http://www.123-reg.co.uk is who I have used for years, exceptional service and very good prices - no hidden charges I have ever come across.
Using your NTL space is free - you will need an FTP program but this can be either Internet Explorer or a dedicated program like Filezilla (also free). They will give you an address to put in it (something like ftp://upload.ntl.com) with a username and password. Using IE you go to the address, enter the u/p when requested and then simply drag and drop from your PC into this window and it will upload. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
