Tesco credit card vs bank

Am trying to decide which card to go for. The tesco credit card looks good for me, I want a 0% purcahse card for as long as they will give and that one is 12 months. But I am wondering
1 how much is income factored into these? (I understood income to matter, but the tesco website says income matters only in terms of how much credit they give you, not in terms of the card)
2 I have solid credit raiting I think, never had a card, but have had overdrafts and only gone over the limit 4 times ever for a month at a time.. experian said next satisfactor next to that overdraftwhich is what it said next to the overdraft which had no mention of going over the limit. and reccomended I could apply to something like 31 cards through their website.. does that mean I have an excellent credit rating or is that them advertising?
3 Will my bank be more likely to give me a bigger limit on my card than tesco?

I want a 0 percent because that will work out for me over 12 months, but I don't want the card to come back and say that I have a limit of 100 or 200.

Thanks

Well Tesco is underwritten by RBS who own NatWest so you may get the same facilties regardless of who you go for.

I didn't know that. Will they be likely to have the same criteria then when I apply? Or will the critea most likely differ because they are different cards, even if they are through rbs?
Ie, could the tesco one be more difficult to get than the other?

    Thanks for the quick reply

I would imagine that the underwriting and credit criteria are broadly similar
