Yeh, theyve changed there terms, it used to be you have to credit the account at £1k per month for a number of months before you would get the £25.
I still prefer the halifax current & web saver combo for day to day banking.
Maybe the offer after March will be £35
, since the banks are now havign to respond to the halifax guantlet thrown down in December 04. 0 -
There is nothing in the info I have seen which says you have to transfer direct debits standing orders etc, so I don't think there is anything to stop you from opening an account depositing £100 waiting for your free pony, then either closing the account or just letting it lie dormant.0
