TV card.

I recently bought from Showshifter their tv software with a tv card and remote as a package. Would I be unreasonable to expect that I would receive the latest version of the software bearing in mind that the advertisment did not state the version being offered? I was rather disappointed to only receive the latest version as a limited trial.

Name the card, retailer and how much. I would be dissapointed if this happened to me. The full showshifter thing appears to be 75 Euros. There may be other software that works as well for free.

The card was bought direct from Showshifter on one of their 'Special' offers. I've sent them a disapproving e-mail and am waiting for a result. Their current offer also does not state version number.
Card is a V-box DVB.T and the total was £82 approx.

I'm sure you just need a registration key or a similar item of information from them. The full product is 22 Mb. It works with numerous cards and can be downloaded and trialed for two weeks. I have seen the same offer in several AV forums offering the full version of Showshifter with this card.
