I've had my xbox for a year and half always stood up right if it wasn't meant to be stood up like that it wouldn't have feet on it.

They are designed to work flat
Don't talk nonsense. The Xbox 360 is "designed" to work in both horizontal and vertical aspects. You just have to take extra care when using it vertically to make sure the disc is placed in the tray correctly.

    Hi Marmaris08

My name's Phil and I work for Comet.

I was sorry to hear of the problems that one of our customers is having with their X-Box 360 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 disc.

I would like to help them resolve this matter, therefore if it has not been resolved, could you please post a link to the forum where they submitted their post, or alternatively could you ask them to send me an e-mail via the link below to provide me with their purchase information. I will be happy to look into it further for them.

    Thanks

I don't wanna engage in cheap company arguments, but let it be known. DSG don't bump old topics.

Yeah, they gave me the day off so I could regain my ninja-selling energy.

Or rather not, I'm quite rubbish at selling stuff, so I stand behind a desk and get shouted at.

(There are no DSG company reps here as far as I know. Don't think I could get away with being one, I bet the reps have to hold back a lot from saying what they thing)

Since i have bought Modern warfare 2 I have had issues ONLY with this disc being read. My xbox has scratched the !!!! out of the disc. There is aparently loads of stuff online about this.

Doesnt matter what way you have the machine. Im unsure as to what to do myself, I bought the game from tesco they aint going to replace the disc will they and from what I read Microsoft dont accept any liability for this......

Return it to Tesco, they should give you a new one. You did only just buy it?
