Amazon Fake Sales

Just received a email from Amazon, massive savings on Adobe student software!
Only problem is that I was monitoring Adobe Photoshop student Ext version and the price has actually gone up by £14 !
I didn't think they were allowed to advertise sales unless the product had dropped, looks like Amazon sale emails have to be taken with a pinch of salt!

I don't think the advertising rules you are referring to apply to emails/internet."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Do they actually say it is a 'sale' - from your post they just say 'massive savings'. It very likely is a saving from the RRP, in which case they are entitled to send an email as they did.0 -
Good point they don't actually mention sale, it seems that Adobe raised their prices on Adobe software and Amazon followed suit. Although the price that has been on Amazon's website for weeks was lower, the new price is still below the RRP.
Although it does seem that it's worth noting that prices in Amazon promotional emails could have actually have just gone up instead of down but that they are advertising that they are cheaper than RRP.0
