    I haven't even got an advent candle this year - perhaps I will find a reduced one soon.

    I remember the year when my girls forgot to open their window one day. We had a lovely lie in on Christmad day cos they were a day behind. :rotfl::rotfl:

    It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
    We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
    Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    I brought DD's a fabric advent calendar when they were tiny, one with all the pockets in, costs a ruddy fortune to fill.....this year they used up nearly a whole tin a "heros"......would have been wrong to leave the rest in the tin right? :confused:

    Tree is ready to go up tomorrow, DD2 has the inset day tomorrow so she can help me get it ready with the lights then they can decorate it tomorrow night with the obligatory home made pizza, bottle of fizz and some very naff christmas music.......:snow_grin

    I need to find DH something to do, he normally does the putting together of the tree but just won't be able to cope with it, don't want him to feel left out....hmmmmm.:rolleyes:
