The New Inn, Etchinghill - 'closest pub to the Channel Tunnel' (Folkestone, Kent) - offering 50% discount on food for anyone crossing the channel in December 2009. Must show Dover ferry / chunnel ticket and make table reservation 24 hours in advance. Been there once - terrific country pub, 3 minutes from Eurotunnel off the M20. Ideal stop-off point if you happen to check-in early.
