Any advice on ca and entitlements??

Hi,

As posted earlier my son was awarded hrc & lrm a few days ago and i have been informed of my entitlement to CA, only thing is i came out of work in august this year due to my ill health, since oct i have been claiming contribution based ESA, i actually have my medical assesment tomorrow.... am i right in believing i wouldnt get CA whilst on ESA if so is their any other options for me my oh works full time and brings in a decent wage, as I had to give up work we are down about £16k, not sure what to do.......
