    Never forget that the true purpose of the Official Secrets Act is to enable those whose work can be covered by it to conceal their incompetence, co¢k-ups and expenditure over-runs. :cool:

    A mate of mine used to work in the research and development side of the MOD
    Because questions could never be asked (beyond what was needed), some of the things they got away with were unbelievable.
    Im certainly not printing any of it here, but needless to say they got away with so much more than youd probably think.

    I used to work in a not-dissimilar area, on Radar Systems. Especially when we were apprentices, we did not work too hard, but just used to fill out our timesheets with whatever 'cost code' had spare hours on it. And Friday afternoons in the lab - or actually the local over the road :beer:

    Oh the days of 'cost plus' contracts ...
