Borders gift voucher help

Hi I received a gift voucher from Borders went to spend it Friday but was told that I needed to spend £40 to spend my £20 voucher. Is this legal now they have gone into administration.

Yes, they are doing more than they have to. They could just refuse the vouchers altogether and it would be perfectly legal now they are in administration.0

I'd take their offer of spending £40 to get the voucher off. They could just make you join the list of creditors and then you stand to get very little back. At least this way you get your £20.0
