is this a good price for insurance

I am lookin g to renew my contents insurnace i have been quoted £118 for the year via barclays which seems quite reasonable. I did a search on moneysupermarket and there were cheaper ones but when i fill in my details the prices were a lot more than quoted i ahve only had the property for a year and am just looking for basic cover really or a good deal. Just wondering if this is an ok amount to pay think it works out about £9 a month

for basic cover, you should be able to do better than £118 a year :eek:

I pay £6.50 each month with Tesco insurance.(£78)

I think its hard to say because so much of the price of insurance depends on the area you live in and the type of property too....
