Driving/Rally experiences

Hey all

After a bit of advice. DP would like a Driving or Rally experience and I'm just after getting information about it. I have no idea, they all look the same to me. He mentioned his dad did one years ago on snow or ice or something similar so something like that or something with an old skool ford :)

Any ideas appreciated.

Cheers

Hello - Take a look at

    http://www.trackdays.co.uk/driving_experience/rally_school/

My brother did a Rally Experience at the Silverstone Rally School booked through these guys - he said it was fantastic and they really looked after him. They seem to do a variety of different experiences. Might be worth giving Trackdays a call for some advice?
  • I bought one from WH Smiths last year for OH and he loved it! It was £99 and took up a whole day so was well worth it. OH got to drive the cars twice and was driven around by the experts too. I was a great present.
  • Try visiting msvdrivinggifts.com

There are quite a few different experiences including rally and race ones.

I know a few people who have tried this at Oulton Prak and Brands Hatch before and they said it was really good.

    Hope it helps!

  • Try ebay - there are lots of experience days on there at the moment for around half-price. Be careful when the expiry date is - but as long as it's feasible to use it within the expiry time, you can get a bargain.

    So far I've bought a white-water rafting for 2 for £30 (RRP £90) and a Supercar Thrill for £60 (RRP £120). I love ebay. :)

Try looking on the Grabbits boards too as a few times now in the past month they have had special offers on buyagift for these.

My DH did a ferrari challenge a few months ago at Donnington park and enjoyed it. They also offer reduced rates on the day to fill up places not previously sold through online bookings. We got the kids on a lotus thrill which saw them flying round the track at 120mph! This was heavily reduced too. The company on the day used was The racing school. who also offer reduced prices for specific days on their website.
