Worcester Bosch combi - no heat to rads?

Hi all,
Is this normal?
Have a WB 30CDi, when I put the heating on it works fine, when request hot water works fine.
But if I do use hot water, the radiators seem to go cold? Its as if it can only do either CH or DHW, not both at the same time? Surely it should be able to....or is this just the way it is? Fairly new to combi's...
Cheers and much appreciated!!

combis use a priority system. when hot water is on demand, it takes priority over the CH system.
but taking a shower should not make the rads go cold. maybe a port valve is sticking?Get some gorm.0 -
Stupid question - what is a port valve, and how could I tell it is sticking?0

Good evening: no 'port valve' on a WB CDi;) A divertor valve switches from CH to DHW then back when there is no DHW demand but room stat is calling for heat...not uncommon for rads to cool down when the shower is running as a combi can't do CH and DHW at the same time. More here.

Cheers and much appreciated!!Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0
