spillage in the tv

i am a new forumite,so here goes.i have just spilt bleach down inside my tv.it was not on at the time,but i am scared to turn it on,will it be safe,will it work ,what shall i do.

Leave it for a day or so to dry out then turm it on.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

will the bleach damage the inside of the tv though,its an old style tv,quite deep with slits in the casing0
