Please don't laugh, I know this is a stupid question but I'm not techy minded and not used a laptop before.
I've just bought a Medion Akoya E5211 laptop and got it up and running today (I'm using my desktop ATM). As I'm used to using a mouse and find the touchpad on the laptop very sensitive, can I use a mouse with the laptop?
Does it have to be any special mouse and where do I stick the wire plug thingy? There's nothing in the instruction book about using a normal mouse.
God, I feel so stupid

Yes you can use a mouse.
any one will do, you dont have to buy anything special.
just plug the usb cable in to one of the usb sockets on the side or back of the laptop, just like you would do on your desktop0 -

There's no need to.God, I feel so stupid

Yep you can use any type of mouse. More than likely it'll be a mouse with a USB connector. It'll look like the following. The picture also shows where it plugs into:

Crickey - a mouse with a pretty purple light (how girlie is that :rotfl: ) for less than £4 plus free shipping. 4/5 stars too so not total rubbish. I might just send for that :T.0 -

That might be better. Just read the reviews on the other one and a couple of one stars. Probably better to spend a bit more. Thanks again.0
