H & M Jimmy choo Returns Policy

I recently bought one of the Jimmy Choo dresses at H & M.

I decided that, of course, the dress cost too much and when I took it back I was told that there was only a 5 day returns policy and they would not give me a refund and didn't mention a credit note.

There normal returns policy is 28 days, are they allowed to change this policy for certain items of clothes?

Their returns policy is entirely voluntary, they don't have to provide any. So in answer to your question they can have whatever terms they wish for their returns policy.

You have no rights to return a dress just because you change your mind.

You only have rights when an item is faulty.

Some stores offer a return policy out of generosity and a service to their customers, in a bid to get repeat custom.

To be fair to H&M they publicised this different policy very heavily in store and were telling all customers in the store who purchased stuff on the day when I was in there last (the day the Jimmy Choo stuff launched)
