What a coincidence, she was in hospital and her employers did not believe her either.... must happen a lot in your circle of friends.

Talk about co-incidence. What are the chances of two MSE'ers who are friends living in different parts of the country, both having the exact same problem - i.e. employer not believing that they have been in hospital - at the exact same time (October 2009)?

Have you got in in writing that thew company don't accept stress and depression as illness, i.e. is this in the notes of the disciplinary meetings you attended? This has got to be discrimination - it's ridiculous that a manager thinks he knows better than the entire medical profession. I agree that you need a full letter from your doctor/ counsellor/ specialist stating that your illness contributed to your forging those letters. However you need to be prepared for losing your job - wish you had come and asked for help at an earlier stage.
