I will soon be moving house and need to "DIY" several jobs, so any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated...:D
The loft need insulating - I don't really fancy using glass fibre (been there, done that - nasty job!), so is there a viable alternative?
Thanks
Ed

They do a product in wickes that's insulation in a bag, one side of which is silver to reflect heat, you unroll it, fluff it up a bit, then lay it between the joists.
Clean, tidy, zero itch solution. But you should work out how much more it's going to cost you and if it's worth it0 -
When I had my loft insulated prior to it being borded the guy doing the work used a product called Artec double, available from Screwfix. It cost more than the standard type of insulation, but very quick & easy to lay.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Thanks HR and C...Any more advice, please?I love a nice juicy "kebab"...
