Try emailing CS to tell them to update the email address that you are sent for billing. Tell them to confirm the changes by sending it to the new email address? If they don't then you will not be liable for missed payments etc... (The staff are meant to be "busy" with the free broadband offer.)

Sorry to but in but can you tell me what the phone number is to customer services with talk talk or dont they have one? I'm with NTL at the moment but I'm thinking of moving to talk talk. Not sure I like the idea of emailing them for things though rather than phone
    Thanx

Yea be prepared to wait for a response if you ever mange to get one. :( I would suggest you keep checking your old email account in case you are sent any info. Also I would suggest to ring them (see below) to see if they got the email and maybe to confirm that changs have been made and updated. :)

The number to call is 0800 049 1010 (this might be a really busy line as they may be busy with the "free" broadband deal, so you might be on hold for a long time or it might be an engaged line). The 0870 444 1820 is free for TalkTalk customers (those who have TT to use for voice calls or those who pay their line rental to them). However if you are neither one of them and you have an o2 contract mobile with inclusive minutes, you can call them for "free" using your minutes, otherwise call during off peak, maybe at the weekends to try and reduce the cost to call them. :) Just keep at it with the 0800 number I would say. :D

I would like to say that if you don't have a BT line (in the house) you will need one if you want to take up the TT offer. :(

Thanx but if I moved I would just have to swap to bt for my landline then wouldnt I first then get the talk talk deal for broadband?

My phone was originally bt then I swapped it to NTL and got a new ntl number. I do have an extra line that was put in by NTL though for my dial up internet until I went to broadband but I kept the line in use after. So I'm wondering if I can only move the one original main bt line although its got an ntl number but I probably would have to pay for the 2nd line wouldnt I

How long would this process take do you think as I wouldnt want to be without broadband really. Can it be done without losing connection?

Would you recommend talk talk? Any particular gripes etc?

And does this mean I'd be paying bt for my line rental and talk talk for the unlimited international plan and calls? I presumme I can still use 1899 with this system then?
    Thanx
