Sorry to dig up an old thread but i've just had an unbelievably bad experience with this company!

Tried to place an order for them and when checking how i took the dimensions (something i instigated before payment and not them!), i was faced with a very disgruntled and unhelpful person who had the cheek to claim it was i who wasn't ordering incorrectly laced with sarcastic remarks about how 'much' experience i have with these things. I'm pretty good at DIY and i'm no stranger to numbers and taking measurements competently.

Tried to explain how i arrived at my measurements (per their guidelines on their website), but never managed to get a word in!

Was then called an 'idiot' then he hung up after enquiring how much my order came to (about £500).

I have emails (thank God) that backs up all that i have purported here which i have forwarded onto Trading Standards.

As my username suggests, please be aware of this company.

seriously what is wrong with this company's employees? So rude. Emails below - the ONLY thing I have changed is my email address and name. I know its not major but nevertheless there is no need to be so incredibly rude - CAPS ON and !!!!!!!!!. Protech appear to be nameless - maybe they find it easier to remain anonymous when rude. And FYI Belfast Northern Ireland is part of the UK - it is on the island of Ireland. They should change their site to say UK MAINLAND only.

I think so. If you search duedil.com, they claim that the company was dissolved in August 2012.
No surprise if this is the case......
