I sent my ipod off for repair as the sound was only coming out of 1 headphone, the ipod has now been returned but it has a lot more scratches and marks on it than when i sent it off. Also the white parts at top and bottom are pertrubing now, i understand it had to be taken apart to repair but surely not this badly. where do i stand?

Have you phoned them to tell them that it looks like that?Barclaycard - £489.74 / £500.00
CapitalOne - £1933.92 / £2000.00
Marbles - £719.45 / £750.00
Beneficial Finance - £398.86 / £450.00
Abbey Overdraft - £8500 -
Dont have a contact number for them, only an address. Been trying to find more details about them.0

They say on their terms that they can replace your bits with refurbished bits, so with the scratches I reckon they won't do anything, you might still try to write to them see if they will sort the pertruding bits at the top/bottom - worst they can do is say no. Sorry yeah when I said 'they' I meant apple - whoops. I'd still write to Currys and tell them you're not happy with the repair.Barclaycard - £489.74 / £500.00

Just found Equinox's email and wrote explaining they just replied too "Thank you for your email, I will be passing this mail on to the workshop manager and asking for his comments."
See what they say first.0 -
I returned the iPod to Equinox and they are sending it back to me today with "workshop report" with it, sounds like they are fobbing me off. Anyone got contact details for currys?0

Hi mate, hope you get that sorted. I recently sent my iPod for repair (it was out of warranty! ) to a company called iPod Repair UK - http://www.ipod-repair.co.uk. I remember them offering a scratch repair service. It depends on the extent of the scratches because I'm sure there's a limit to how good it can be restored. But they might be able to help.0
