First Plus - PPI query. Please can someone help me?

Hello everyone, I'm normally on the PAD thread but I had a look at my First Plus statement today and discovered to my absolute horror I am paying £4384.60 in PPI! I actually didn't claim while I was arrears and they didn't tell me I could either! Could I be eligible to claim this back as I've now realised they could have helped me when I needed to pay this cover and didn't while I was out of work and made redundant?
I'm currently paying £1000 a month to pay off my arrears and the current re-mortgage fee till March 2010.
I really would appreciate some help from you lovely MSER's if possible....

Hello there and welcome to this thread.;)

Going by what you have said in your post, then I would give it a go.

More here with templates, useful guidelines of reclaiming, etc, post by recorded delivery to the ones who sold you the loan, so if this was arranged and sold by a broker you write to them.

Good luck, and please ask for help anytime and also please let us know how you get on, cheers.
