I am off to go for my monthly boots shop and was wondering if Boots are currently the best value for Johnsons Holiday Skin or equivalent moisturisers - I've heard that Dove's nice and not smelly at all!!

I've read in a lot of magazines that Johnsons is meant to be the best - but my sis who's tried them all says that Dove is great (she's tried the darker shade) and agrees that it's the best smelling.
I'm pretty sure she said it's on 2-for-1 in Boots at the moment. Dove, that is.

Ive used both Johnsons and Dove and the colour comes out much quick with Dove but i found it takes a while to fade if you have streaks. Which i envitably did! lol

I use the dove normal to darker skin and I found if i didn't completely rub it in then it would go streaky but if I took the time to make sure its applied evenly it's great stuff and the colour is good.

Mum's been using Johnsons on her face and she looks like she has been tangoed, had my sister and I in giggles for hours

All Toni & Guy products (shampoo, conditioner & styling) are on 2 for £7. I bought the X-wax stick (£8.99) & Texture paste (£5.99) for £7 - Bargain! Many of the styling products are £6/7 each any way.

Last time, as the same offer was, my husband also took X-wax stick (£8.99), thought a bargain... but saw that sh*t :D He didn't like it at all  As for me, I don't like to touch his hair and to stick on it :D

No i didnt like the Wax Stick either but i love the Tame-It Serum which is £7.99 so getting 2 for £7 (or £6.98 as it comes up on boots.com) is great. Just need to find a free postage code now! lol

calleyw, I'm not really understanding this one...............I know I should but ????
Is it the BOGOF in the back of the Boots mag? Did you try to buy 2 and get both free??? Or 1 and none free? Help!
    LL

Yes it was the voucher from the back of the boots magazine. My husband did not know it was for BOGOF on the product. So he picked up one can and took it to the till and got it for free.

That sounds pretty good - wonder if it was a one off or standard practise?
