Usually this offer is instore only. There might be other offers online but usually nothing similar but they always have the 1000 points christmass nights instore. Well worth it as this year they are starting earlier- you sometimes get freebies plus you can buy spend £150 , put through in three transactions and get 3000 points. Maybe a good time to meet up with a pal with a car for a coffee- and then a trip to the boots night
.
Question - Does anyone know If I can buy a gift voucher with my advantage card points ?0 -

I need phone credit so I am hanging on but would phone credit be counted as your £10?
And would you be able to use your extra pointds voucher from the machine for spending over £7.50?

all 4-10pm with nibbles drinks and prize draws.
best tip is to get there early and have all your shopping picked ready to be served at 4pm .
if you leave it later the store is usually packed and there are no trolleys left.0 -

Erm, it was supposed to be a joke. My local branch is pretty small so the staff do tend to know the regulars. The No.7 make up lady does give me the evil eye though as she didn't like me taking advantage of a loop hole the other week.0 -

Thanks for that! My nearest store is having one of these evenings on the 25th oct, and I've noticed most of the dates are around then. Do boots do another one closer to xmas, or do they only do it in Oct?
Also, what goes on at these evenings? Is there anything else, or just the extra points offers? And can you spend your points on these evenings? I know that if you spend points, you can't gain points, but can points still be spent on these evenings?0 -

you can still spend points but I'd advise against it as its a good way to top upyour card. LAst year in the Glasgow Sauchiehall St event they had a band and were giving out a few wee freebies - be warned though it was all a bit manic!! Enjoy

Writing my 'd'oh!' over this weekend! I went to Edinburgh to meet my friend, and asked if we could pop into boots. She was hurrying my quite a bit so I couldn't really have a look around, so I just bought some of the usual baby stuff I get. I worked out that I'd spent over £15, so I could get the best of boots box, and then threw in some cotton buds just to make sure. When i got to the checkout I was asked if I had a boots card, which I've left somewhere (actually, must find that if I'm planning to spend the points!!) so I asked for the reciept to be validated, and my friend went 'oh no, i't sok you can have mine' and stuck her card in, lol! This is a big no no with me, lol, like touching Joey's food (friends). So she stuck her card in, and then when all the stuff went through it went as BOGOF, so I'd only spent £8. Was gutted! Lol!0
