Barclaycard Mystuff Gadget Insurance - Service withdrawn?

Hi there,

Earlier this year I noticed that Barclaycard Mystuff had stopped taking payments for my policy after I asked them to charge my debit card rather than the credit card the insurance was given away with.

I contacted Mystuff and they said they would start taking payment from my debit card. Having checked my statements this week, I still can't find any payments taken from the last few months.

I've searched long and hard for the paperwork which shows my policy number and they're contact number but appear to have mislaid it. I decided to call mystuff but the product page has vanished from the search engines! Have Barclays withdrawn this service and not even bothered telling anyone? I'm a little annoyed if they had as I've been assuming my property is insured, when apparently this isn't the case! It's a shocking way of working if they just cancel your policy and don't even tell you....

Has anyone using this service heard anything? Does anyone have a contact number? There's nothing listed on the Barclaycard website...

I've got their number, it's from a barclaycard statement - payment taken on the 30th November 09 - it's 0800 917 7684. I was going to ring tomorrow to cancel - can't find my original paperwork either... we're re-building a cottage and have stuff everywhere!
