Edwardian Doors... recommend a handle / knob?

Hello everyone,

We are currently refreshing our edwardian internal doors.. could anyone recommend some handles or knobs which would look nice with these?

We have painted them white.

I think I would prefer handles but OH thinks knobs would look better?

    proper ones.
you can get similar (round) ones much cheaper though.
    Get some gorm.
  • I do a lot of work with reclaimed doors and that style often have round bakelite knobs with rimlocks.

May not be to everyones taste, but just thought I would let you know what was original!
  • Thanks for your replies!

I think I prefer door handles but I appreciate round knobs will probably suit the doors better!
  • We have original Edwardian doors in our house and they all have a brass door plate and round door knobs. I hope that helps!
