I would also say that the £10 a day challenge has been the most helpful for me personally. The 4k challenge for me too... (its called the Frugal Living 2010 - The Cost of Living Challenge next year as we all have different budgets). It really helped me to look at ALL my spending - on a regular basis. Its amazing how motivating is is not to spend money on XYZ just because I have ABC left for the month. I have to *properly* budget for the year. Its not just the budgeting side either - the support and suggestions/help are amazing. I'm spending less but I have a far happier, balanced life!
